Choosing Treatments
Our team are happy to offer advice to ensure you choose treatments specifically suite to your spa needs. Treatments may be combined to make a unique spa experience.
When to arrive
To enhance your experience, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your treatment. This will allow time for you to complete our consultation form and give yourself time prior to your treatment to re-balance your mind, body and spirit.
What happens if I am late?
Arriving late will simply limit the length of your spa treatment and therefore lessen your time spent with us. Treatments will always finished as scheduled in order not to delay and inconvenience the next guest. Hair salon clients may be delayed for reasons beyond our control but we do attempt to make every effort to begin at your scheduled appointment time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment is free of charge if made 48 hours in advance. A deposit or gift certificate number is required at time of booking to secure your appointment. If you fail to show for your appointment the total treatment cost will be charged to your gift certificate or your deposit will be lost.
Rates and payment of spa services
All rates and services are inclusive of GST and may be subject to change without notice. About Face accepts cash and all major credit cards.
Parking
Guests of About Face are welcome to use our secure car park located directly behind our salon. We do have limited spaces available, and in the event that our car park is full we would direct you to the on street parking available on John Street.
Special Requirements
Our team are happy to assist with any special requirements you may have. Please inform our reservations of any special dietary requirement or allergy, so you can properly experience our salon and spa.
Medical Conditions
Please inform our receptionist and therapist of any health concerns that you may have when making your booking and when completing your consultation form. Our expert therapists can correctly adviseon special conditions.
Pregnancy
We recommend that you wait until your second trimester to enjoy your massage and body therapies and there will be some spa therapies that you will not be about to experience in your first trimester and throughout your pregnancy. However we have many skin therapies and hand and foot therapies you can enjoy at any time during your pregnancy. Please inform reception at time of booking regarding your pregnancy. We are happy to advise you on suitable treatments for you during this special time.
Privacy Policy
Our beautiful surroundings are designed for you to relax and enjoy quiet time out. We ask that you please respect the privacy of others by ensuring mobile phones are off or on silent and by using a lowered voice.

Salon Reward Program
As an About Face Rewards Member you’ll earn points on EVERY dollar spent at About Face. For every 100 points accrued you’ll receive a $25 voucher to spend in store. Our system automatically tracks the points you’ve earned.
Redeeming VIP Points
Once you’ve earned 100 VIP Points, we’ll send you a gift certificate. This requires that you have a valid email address in our system and that you have not opted out to our communications. When you check out of your appointment at the salon please present your voucher and we will credit your bill for the gift certificate amount.
Enrolling in the VIP Program
You are automatically enrolled in our VIP program from the first time you make a purchase at About Face. You could be close to receiving your Loyalty Rewards voucher and not even know it!
Gift Cards
Give time out and well-being to your loved one. An About Face gift card is an unforgettable present for friends, family and colleagues. Whatever the special occasion our gift cards are beautifully presented in a gift box and guaranteed to impress.
Gift Card Conditions
- Gift cards may be redeemed at About Face
- Please bring your gift certificate with you on your visit to our spa.
- Please advise our reception at time of booking of your gift certificate number.
This will be used to hold your appointment in lieu of paying a deposit.
- Please ensure gift certificates are used prior to expiry date.
- Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable.
- Gift cards are redeemable for services in our spa and salon only.
Shop Online
About Face offers a secure internet mail ordering service, providing convenient product or gift card ordering. We are also happy to offer a phone order service where required. About Face reserves the right to amend these prices and treatments at any time.
